Their Mother
She is their blanket to warm them on a cold winter night. She is the food that satisfies their hungry spirit. She is their shelter from the storm, their nursemaid to heal all hurts. She is the wind that lifts them up when they have fallen. She is encouragement that guides them forward. She is the love that brought them here. She is the heart DAILY PRAYING them through.
She is their mother.

and lucky me... she is also my friend.

Cat nap
With a new baby, you know how precious a few minutes of sleep can be. I love this image. How many moms remember the quick quiet moments on the couch... when everything, just for the moment is still....
the baby is happy
the baby isnt hungry or dirty ... yet :)
siblings are quiet
and the house is still.....
those are the precious moments of life. Those are the ones we should all remember...

Little Peyton
I just love this image tonight. As i look over my own daughter sleeping quietly... as i think about how short life is... this image grabs me and gives me a quiet peace.
Love them.
Love your girls for all they are.
For their happys
For their sads
For their tantrums
For their crocodile tears that have no purpose
Love your girls.
Hug them
Tell them you are proud of them
Kiss them every chance you get. Every chance you get, Every chance you get, every chance you get.
Love them for being shy
or loud
or bold
or quiet
love them when they are grumby and mean
and quiet and whiney
JUST LOVE THEM and Kiss them and hold them and smell them.
Thank your God for them every minute, each breath ...
Love them and love them and love them
and love them
and love them
and love them
and love them........
Love them.

The Gatti Girls
A bond with a sister... these Gatti girls will have something special. Thinking back to my childhood... I don't know HOW my sister put up with me! I was a pest, Messy Bessy, always spying on her and her friends, borrowing clothes and make up... and doing my best to copy every move she made..... yes, I was the typical little sister.
I thank God for my big sister now. She is one of my rocks and part of my foundation. She cools my temper, she soothes my hurts, she opens windows to a different perspective. My sister is my childhood. She knows where I have been, she prays for my tomorrows, and she CHEERS out loud for my todays.... That is what sisters do.
SO Katy, thank you for every ounce of patience you had with me, for every vent you have listened to, for every thing Gaudy, colorful and "Bling Bling" you send my sweet daughter, for loving my kids, for remembering their birthdays, for completing masons scrapbook, for making me find time for myself... for being you.. the best sister in the world.
And Gatti Girls... one day... I promise, one day....You two will be the best friends ever!! You are each others tomorrow and each others yesterday...

Christina....
From the moment of birth until our last breath our life is a unique story unfolding. Tales of faith, home and trials; of miracles, adventures, and romance;of joys, sorrows, and love, blend harmoniously together to reveal the wonder of God's purpose in bestowing upon us this incredible gift of life. Yea, we are fearfully and wonderfully made and what we do with this blessing called life is our gift to God. Moment by Moment our life's journey is a distinctively unique narrative illuminating our Creator's awesome love for us.

Congratulations Christina! Have a wonderful Senior year!

Two boys being .... boys!
Brothers are a magical thing.
I have tried to explain it, but I fail miserably every time! Brothers are friends, they are competitors, they are almost the same, but slightly different.
Brothers love to love each other
and probably love to pester each other too! Brothers will share somethings their entire lives. They will share boyhood, and teen hood,
they will share a Mama
and a Daddy, they share their lives and they will share their sorrows. They will grow and experience so many things and they will always have each other to fall on when they stumble. They will be confidants and they will be wrestling partners.
They will be friends,
and they will be family. They will play and tumble and fish and fight and run and jump and laugh and tussle. They will love and they will cry.
They will be as thick as glue.....
they are brothers.
That one word says it all.
These two were such a joy be around! Grant and Garrett Lewis will be a duo for sure! Those Benton Boys.... watch out world... here they come!

The Tea Party
What an honor... to be invited to the Hammond Tea Party! Believe me, it is an honor I do not take lightly! Being a part of this family's childhood memory treasure box..... is magical and pretty much the closest thing to a fairy tale I have been a part of. Thank you so much Kendall and Fordham for including me... Next time .... I promise.... I will bring my pearls and bonnet!!
That is kind but not needed.
But you must dress for the occasion...
I am thinking tulle, glitter and beaded!
Our Mommy will take care,
To see that you wake
With plenty time to spare!
And meet us at the door
We will all walk together
To the garden gate at 4.
My Dearest Fordham,
You are cordially invited to a Tea,
Please say you will attend…..
This Tea is honoring me!
My sweet Kendall,
Why, of course - Count me in!
What an honor to be your date…
Is there a special gift that I should send?
That is kind but not needed.
But you must dress for the occasion...
I am thinking tulle, glitter and beaded!
Now Kendall, my dear,
Just where should we meet?
If my nap runs long…
Will you save me a seat?
Our Mommy will take care,
To see that you wake
With plenty time to spare!
And meet us at the door
We will all walk together
To the garden gate at 4.
And Fordham…
I am thankful for you, brother
That you would attend My Tea.
What a special gift God gave me…
When he gave you to Daddy, Mommy and me…!
